I think that not many places on earth are as
beautiful as Moraine
Lake.
Water level was pretty low when I was there
around mid June.
Phanfare

I have been experimenting with this new web
service named Phanfare.
They provide an excellent combination of Application/Web site to allow you to share pictures and videos with family and friends.
Their software is available for MACs and PCs and it will cost you US$ 59 per year to get unlimited storage for your pictures and video clips.
The software is very easy to use and feature rich.
Phanfare will let you try their system for free for 30 days.
Worth the try.

American Photo Magazine is another great magazine dedicated to photography.
I subscribe to this magazine via Zinio and I am never tired of reading the articles and seeing the pictures presented over and over again.
Photography Monthly

I read a lot of Photography Magazines and I can say that I have not found a publication better than the british Photography Monthly Magazine.
The articles are great and the quality of the pictures presented is superb.
Totally recommend and I am sure that this magazine will satisfy both beginners and more advanced amateurs.
The magazine is a little bit expensive here in Canada (around 9 C$) but worth the investment.
iGTD

If you are like me then you are most likely looking for some kind of software to help keep you organized.
I am very pleased to announce that I have found a great piece of software that works extremely well and integrates with MAC OS X Ical and MAIL in great ways.
iGTD is the creation of Bartek Bargiel, a very talented Polish (yes from Poland) programmer who is kind enough to share his great product with us for free.
iGTD implements several of the concepts discussed by David Allen on this Getting Things Done book and it's extremely easy to use.
You have to further excuses to procrastinating getting things done anymore.
Check IGTD's web site.

Rapidweaver
20/03/07 21:57 Filed in: Software
I have now moved from my previous Movabletype enabled
web site to a model based on Rapidweaver as it
appears o be less complex to maintain and
easier to produce posts.
I am still struggling with adjusting the site template and you will see a few broken links and additional issues while I make the transition.
I am hoping that the end result will be a site that is easier to read and easier to maintain.

I took this one at the local Zoo some time ago.
I like the colors and the light. Just wish the face of the bird was a littler bit sharper.

I know it's summer time in the south and I
thought I should offer some help to cool people
down a little bit.
This picture was taken in Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada.
We got some fresh snow the day before and it looked pretty cool over there.
